“Home” by Wieden + Kennedy for Verizon was selected by Nick Bendian, director of account service.
Here’s Nick’s reason for choosing this ad: “Verizon produced a spot that shows extended family members packing up and gathering for the holidays. Once everyone arrives the voiceover explains, “This time of year, it’s good to have America’s most reliable network — from the moment you need it… until the moment you don’t.” They then show a family member power off their cell phone. This is a nice tie-in with their brand positioning, but a refreshing message that even a global communications company believes we should spend more time with our families (and less on our phones) over the holidays.”
