TAFB Named in Top 4% of America’s Most Trusted CharitiesSubscribe to Insights
(Fort Worth, TX) —— Charity Navigator, the premier charity evaluator in America, has given its coveted, four-out-of-four star ranking to Tarrant Area Food Bank for the fifth year in a row — a designation that only four percent of charities in America have the honor of receiving.
Tarrant Area Food Bank received this exceptional ranking “for sound fiscal management and commitment to accountability and transparency,” something that donors hold in high esteem when deciding which charities to support.
“Tarrant Area Food Bank’s Board of Directors as well as staff have always held stewardship and innovation as guiding principles,” said Robert Drummond, board president. “We are extremely proud to be one of the 4% of charities that have been awarded five consecutive 4-star ratings.”
Not only does TAFB serve Fort Worth and Tarrant County, but it also serves the neighboring 12 counties in North Texas, providing food for its 300 partner agencies in the area.
