Warren Douglas Supports AAF Benefit Bash for 12th Year in a Row
Subscribe to InsightsFort Worth, TX (October 2019) – Every year since the event began, Warren Douglas Advertising has been intimately involved with publicity for the annual AAF Benefit Bash for PMR Charity. This is the 13th year of the event and the 12th year Warren Douglas has provided design for the event.
The 2019 event is scheduled for October 12 at 7:30 p.m. at Shipping and Receiving Bar in Fort Worth. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, with all proceeds benefitting PMR Charity. (Tickets are available at www.AAFBenefitBash.com.) Beatles tribute band, A Hard Night’s Day, takes the stage again this year.
The theme for this year’s AAF Benefit Bash is “Carry That Weight” referencing a song off the Beatles’ Abbey Road album that celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year.
PMR Charity, founded by Dr. Omar Selod, exists to provide financial assistance to those who cannot afford to pay for their medical services.
The Warren Douglas team submitted various design concepts to AAF and PMR. It was Senior Art Director, Paul Davis, whose design was chosen.
“We’re honored to be able to support this great cause,” Davis said. “Using the theme, I wanted to visually blend the Abbey Road throwback with elements of weight and a hat tip to A Hard Night’s Day. I was pleased with how it all turned out.”
