The Public Relations Coordinator will work on both traditional and digital public relations efforts and influencer marketing. This will include planning, implementing, optimizing, and reporting. The PR Coordinator will be expected to coordinate with other teams regarding budget and tactics.



  • Strategize, plan, and execute public relations campaigns for all clients
  • Create all press materials including, but not limited to, press releases, target media lists, media alerts, talking points, speeches
  • Media relations: outlet and contact research, pitching, follow-up, and interview scheduling; press release distribution and follow-up
  • Onsite event management: wrangle media and assist account service with execution
  • Advise team members on PR best practices
  • Present pitches and results to clients in person
  • Work with paid media teams to align efforts for editorial coverage
  • Use media monitoring software, such as CisionPoint to gather relevant media lists, editorial opportunities, and news placement monitoring; monitor HARO for relevant opportunities
  • Assist with content creation for social media department (organic social content, ad copy, etc.)
  • Help concept and execute culture initiatives for the agency
  • Stay updated on current events, news, and trends


  • 4 year degree
  • Proficient in CisionPoint or similar platform
  • Highly skilled writer; AP style proficient
  • Move quickly, prioritize deadlines, and manage last-minute requests
  • Effectively communicate using all forms of interaction
  • Relational and composed in various settings
  • Self-starter; take direction well
  • Detail-oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Mac experience, a plus)
