Our CEO started his career in marketing at Mrs Baird’s Bakeries in Fort Worth, working closely with the product management and finance departments in supporting retail promotions and analyzing their profitability. He left Mrs Baird’s and started his own advertising agency in 1998. Since then, Doug has grown Warren Douglas into a multi-million dollar entity with 40+ employees and clients in a wide range of industries, including consumer goods, finance, healthcare, energy, education, technology, and a host of others. A native Texan, Doug holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Michigan State University. He is an accomplished pianist and composer, actively serving on the music team at Watermark Community Church. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Fort Worth and serves on the board of Covenant Classical School and Global Aid Network. Doug loves to snow ski with his wife and their four children, all of whom are far more athletic than he ever was.
Our VP/Creative Director loves advertising, and has worked at a lot of different places for an enviable variety of clients (which translates into all kinds of relevant industry insight and experience for you). Steve's been at big shops like JWT and Ketchum, as well as boutique shops, and has worked on brands like Proctor & Gamble, Sara Lee, Shell Oil and Dairy Queen, to name drop just a few. He's even done a couple of stints on the client side, crafting creative work for retailers Pier 1 Imports and RadioShack. Steve's specialty is quickly uncovering the essence of the marketing challenge at hand and translating it into highly creative executions that drive results. He went to the University of Oklahoma, and he loves motorcycles and fast cars almost as much as his Boomer Sooner bottle opener.
Our VP of Integrated Media knows all too well that advertising is as much about when and where you place your ad as what it says. Jenny is a master at finding just the right fit for the right message at the right time. She has more than a decade of media planning/buying expertise under her oh-so-chic belt, and her many client success stories include work for Nationwide, American Airlines and Popeye’s Chicken, among others. A dance teacher for 11 years, Jenny’s two girls will attest she is just as quick on her feet at home as she is on the job.
Our director of account service, Nick Bendian, started at the WD in July 2015 and is no stranger to life at an advertising agency. With ten years of account service experience, Nick can jump any size hurdle when it comes to delivering innovative, strategic solutions to the client. This stylish TCU horned frog lets his drive and attention to detail come through in everything he does, whether it’s developing a new business plan, managing a team, contributing to agency culture or picking out his shirt and tie combo for the day.
When it comes to media strategy, our Media Director, Adrienne King, is never short on creative solutions. Armed with an Advertising degree from Texas Christian University, her edge in the agency never goes unnoticed. Twice named “Buyer of the Year” by the Dallas Chapter of Alliance for Women in Media, Adrienne’s relationships with vendors ensure that the client’s budget —big or smalls— delivers superior results.
Our aptly named Cassidy Newton comes equipped with a Ph.D. in Physics and an MBA. Cassidy’s love for all things numeric adds up to keen strategic insight on the volumes of marketing data that's so critical to our clients, but often so daunting to decipher. She is a dedicated (and we mean dedicated) TCU football fan, and her equal ability to converse in depth on the mysteries of the space/time continuum just adds to her charm! Cassidy joined the team in July of 2012.
Robin Taylor heads the WD’s new business efforts. Identifying growth opportunities for brands fuels her passion for making introductions that develop into collaborative long-term relationships. Whether she’s prepping for the next marathon or putting us in touch with premium brands, Robin’s motivation to be the best never goes unnoticed.
Everyone together — "Good morning, Ms. Brookshear!" Pam is WD’s new executive assistant to the CEO, Doug Briley. She spent 16 years teaching in local school districts, and became a teacher and headmaster at Covenant Classical School, where she met the Briley family. Pam is never short on her desire to help others and to make sure everyone in the office has a smile on their face.
WD’s Director of Software and Development, Joshua Harbor, comes to Digital Thrive armed with an MBA in Project Management and a B.S. in Psychology from Dallas Baptist University – making him a pro when it comes to both the mind and machines. With more than five years of business analysis and project management experience, Joshua is unstoppable when it comes to wrangling the DT team toward a common goal, and providing timely and effective service to our clients.
A gifted designer with an eye for business, our Associate Creative Director’s portfolio includes traditional and non-traditional work for Essilor, Tyson Foods, Pier 1 Imports, D Magazine, Habitat for Humanity and Texas Tech University, among others. Bryce brings his “A” game to every project he touches including complete marketing and advertising campaigns, collateral material, websites and all mediums of broadcast. A Texas Tech graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design Communication, Bryce has more than 15 years of professional design experience.
