Mobile phones allowed at PGA Crowne Plaza Invitational

(Fort Worth, TX) – At the PGA TOUR’s Crowne Plaza Invitational at Colonial in Fort Worth, for the first time in PGA TOUR history, mobile phones will be allowed on property during the tournament, where Twitterers everywhere will be receiving up-to-the-minute updates, consumer specials and PGA TOUR Player Twitter feeds.

Local Fort Worth agency Warren Douglas, is managing the social media for the event. Lauren Gourley, Social Media Manager for the agency says, “We want to expand beyond just Twitter and Facebook, with location-based sharing.
